Pembelajaran STEAM dengan Media Loose Parts di Kelompok Bermain Anak Usia Dini

Usia dini adalah masa krusial, oleh karenanya stimulasi mutlak diberikan, salah satunya melalui pendidikan. Tetapi, fenomena yang masih kerap ditemui, siswa cepat bosan dan kurang antusias selama pembelajaran. Penyebabnya seperti anak kurang dilibatkan aktif, belum memberikan kemerdekaan belajar, media belajar kurang beragam. STEAM didukung pemanfaatan Loose Parts dipandang dapat menjadi solusi dan inovasi. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan STEAM dengan pemanfaatan Loose Parts dan hasil pembelajaran siswa. Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 1 guru kelas, 1 guru pendamping dan 7 peserta didik. Metode analisis data yakni pengumpulan, data, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian, penerapan STEAM dengan pemanfaatan Loose Parts dapat diterapkan pada PAUD dengan mengintegrasikan kelima komponennya dengan tingkatan yang sederhana sesuai tahapan usianya. Loose Parts terbukti dapat mendukung penerapan STEAM, meningkatkan keingintahuan dan antusiasme serta siswa menunjukkan respon positif selama pembelajaran.
