Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara merupakan kompetensi bahasa mendasar yang mulai berkembang sejak usia dini dan menjadi fondasi capaian literasi di sekolah dasar, namun pembelajarannya sering kurang mendapat perhatian dibandingkan membaca dan menulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh metode bercerita terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak usia dini dan siswa sekolah dasar melalui studi literatur sistematis dengan analisis tematik. Artikel dikumpulkan dari basis data Scopus dan disaring secara bertahap berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Sintesis menghasilkan beberapa tema utama yang menunjukkan bahwa metode bercerita, baik lisan konvensional, digital, maupun kolaboratif, secara konsisten dilaporkan meningkatkan kelancaran berbicara, kosakata, kompetensi naratif, dan literasi lisan emergent anak, dengan pola perkembangan yang berkesinambungan dari jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini menuju sekolah dasar. Efektivitas metode bercerita turut dipengaruhi oleh kesesuaian desain kegiatan dengan tahap perkembangan anak serta kesiapan guru dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran. Kesenjangan penelitian ditemukan pada konteks bahasa dan budaya Indonesia yang masih minim dikaji, khususnya pada masa transisi dari pendidikan anak usia dini menuju sekolah dasar. Metode bercerita direkomendasikan sebagai strategi prioritas dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbicara pada kedua jenjang tersebut, khususnya melalui pengembangan modul bercerita berbasis cerita rakyat Indonesia yang kontekstual secara budaya dan bermakna bagi anak.
