Abstract

Siswa Sekolah Dasar berada pada tahap perkembangan kognitif yang pesat dan memerlukan stimulasi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas Brain Games dan Brain Gym dalam mengoptimalkan perhatian dan penalaran abstrak siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kajian Literatur (Literature Review). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Brain Games lebih unggul dalam melatih aspek kognitif spesifik seperti working memory dan kecepatan pemrosesan informasi, sementara Brain Gym lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan perhatian, koordinasi motorik, dan kesiapan belajar. Integrasi kedua metode tersebut dapat memberikan dampak yang sinergis dalam upaya mengoptimalisasikan fungsi kognitif siswa Sekolah Dasar, khususnya dalam hal perhatian dan penalaran abstrak. Sekolah disarankan untuk mengadopsi kedua metode ini, dengan menyesuaikan pada kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa, demi memaksimalkan perkembangan kognitif, khususnya perhatian dan penalaran abstrak.
