Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak kemampuan mengajar guru PAUD terhadap pengetahuan mereka tentang penggunaan APE di wilayah Langke Rembong, Manggarai pada tahun 2023. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi sederhana digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak dua puluh lima guru PAUD dipilih sebagai sampel melalui metode cluster sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes objektif yang telah melalui proses validasi. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari kompetensi pedagogis guru terhadap pemahaman mereka dalam menggunakan APE, dengan persamaan regresi diperoleh sebagai berikut: Y = 26,483 + 0,553X. Hasil ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dengan tingkat kekuatan sedang, di mana koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 0,476. Kemampuan mengajar guru berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman penggunaan APE, meskipun kontribusi ini dianggap rendah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa walaupun terdapat faktor-faktor lain yang turut memengaruhi, kompetensi pedagogis guru PAUD terbukti memiliki pengaruh yang penting terhadap pemahaman dalam penggunaan APE.
