Adalah fitrah manusia untuk selalu dapat menjalin hubungan intim dengan orang-orang terdekat di lingkungannya, dan yang paling utama ialah menjalin kedekatan dengan kedua orang tua. Pola asuh orang tua akan berdampak terhadap kelekatan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis lebih mendalam bagaimana bentuk pola asuh ayah tunggal terhadap kelekatan anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Â Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 5 orang ayah tunggal. Teknik analisis data berupa triangulasi model interaktif menggunakan teknik analisis data berupa triangulasi model interaktif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, tahap pereduksian data, tahap penyajian data, dan tahap pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh orang tua dengan status ayah tunggal lebih cenderung menggunakan pola asuh otoritatif dan permisif. Sedangkan kelekatan yang diberikan ayah tungga kepada anak cenderung menggunakan pola secure attachment. Meskipun anak telah memasuki perkembangan usia menuju dewasa, mereka tetap membutuhkan kasih sayang dan perhatian dari orang tua.
