Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media grafis untuk pengenalan life scence Kupu-kupu pada anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan metode penelitian Research & Development/ R&D. Studi ini menggunakan metode model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis kebutuhan (studi literatur, analisis komparatif, wawancara & observasi), angket untuk pakar. Hasil penelitian uji draft media grafis menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran life science kehidupan Kupu-kupu dinilai cukup berhasil setelah menggunakan media grafis dibanding dengan metode konvensional hal ini di lihat dari catatan pelaksannan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah bahwa media grafis layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengenalan kehidupan Kupu-kupu pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin provinsi Selatan.
