Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembentukan karakter anak usia dini melalui permainan tradisional di PAUD serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur dengan pendidik, dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Triangulasi meningkatkan keabsahan data dengan memverifikasi temuan dari berbagai sumber dan teknik, sehingga memperkuat pemahaman peran permainan tradisional dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional efektif menanamkan nilai kerja sama dan tanggung jawab. Faktor pendukungnya adalah peran guru dan keterlibatan orang tua, sementara hambatannya meliputi kurangnya tindak lanjut orang tua, komunikasi yang lemah, dan pengaruh teknologi. Permainan tradisional memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter anak, namun tantangan modernitas dan daya tarik gadget harus diatasi. Keterlibatan orang tua, pendidik, dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk mengenalkan permainan tradisional sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini mendukung pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter, nilai moral, dan pelestarian budaya.
