Meskipun penelitian yang berbasis proyek sudah banyak dilakukan, hanya sedikit penelitian yang kegiatannya menggunakan model Project Based Learning fokus untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning yang kegiatannya berpusat pada anak dimana pengajarannya dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara pada anak. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mencari pengaruh antara model Project Based Learning dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara anak. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan penilaian ceklis oleh peneliti. Dengan dua kelas B5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan B6 kelas kontrol dengan jumlah anak yang sama. Data hasil penelitian di analisis menggunakan uji hipotesis berbantuan spss. Dari uji hipotesis yang dilakukan mendapatkan rata rata di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Project Based Learning mempengaruhi keterampilan bebrbicara anak. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar guru dapat menggunakan pembelajaran dengan model project based learning.
