Perkembangan kognitif merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang sangat penting di stimulasi sejak dini pada anak. Jika tidak berkembang, aspek ini akan berpengaruh terhadap aspek perkembangan lain. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi pendidik yakni guru dan orang tua untuk menstimulasi aspek ini secara tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stimulasi aspek perkembangan kognitif menggunakan multimedia. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode meta-analisis yang menggunakan literatur dari jurnal dan hasil penelitian terdahulu. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis tema. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis data maka tiga tema telah muncul. Tema tersebut yaitu dimensi kognitif yang berkembang melalui multimedia, pengembangan multimedia untuk stimulasi aspek kognitif, dan strategi pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis multimedia. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan media belajar berbasis multimedia khususnya untuk anak usia dini.
