Pendidik harus mempunyai kemampuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada anak didiknya, diantaranya adalah pengetahuan mengenai bahasa dan karakter. Pendidik dan orangtua memiliki peran penting untuk menstimulasi tumbuh kembang anak dengan baik. Kemampuan anak dalam berkomunikasi dan keterampilannya dapat didukung melalui adanya buku ajar yang dipilih sebagai sumber belajar. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara mendalam dan rinci mengenai unsur linguistik berupa kosakata dan mengidentifikasi nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam setiap cerita yang terdapat pada buku cerita bergambar bilingual dengan judul Kumpulan Dongeng Karakter Baik Untuk Anak yang memiliki 10 cerita dongeng. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa content analysis. Dari penelitian ini memberikan simpulan bahwa buku cerita bergambar bilingual ini layak serta dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa sebagai sumber belajar bahasa Inggris bagi anak usia dini karena mampu meningkatkan keterampilan linguistik pada anak berupa penambahan kosakata baru serta dapat menambah pengetahuan tentang nilai-nilai karakter yang harus ditanamkan sejak dini.
