Abstract


Sikap positif dalam menghadapi perbedaan terhadap Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) sangat penting untuk diajarkan pada anak sejak usia dini karena merupakan fondasi awal dalam pembentukan toleransi dan memiliki manfaat yang besar bagi anak tipikal maupun bagi ABK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas kegiatan bercerita dengan puppet book dalam meningkatkan sikap positif dalam menghadapi perbedaan terhadap ABK pada anak 4-6 tahun. ABK yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada tunanetra dan tunarungu. Desain penelitian yang dipakai adalah one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian merupakan 10 anak tipikal berusia 4-6 tahun, Intervensi yang diberikan menggunakan kegiatan bercerita dengan puppet book yang dilakukan selama 2 hari dengan memberikan masing-masing satu sesi per harinya. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur Sikap Positif Dalam Menghadapi Perbedaan Terhadap ABK yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Analisis data penelitian dengan menggunakan uji beda Wilcoxon signed-rank test menunjukkan perbedaan nilai rata-rata sikap positif yang signifikan (p<0.05) antara sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan bercerita dengan puppet book dilakukan. Setelah jeda waktu satu minggu, hasil analisis data juga menunjukkan bahwa masih didapatkan peningkatan pada sikap positif, dengan nilai post-test lebih besar daripada pre-test.
