Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas program pembelajaran membaca permulaan dengan metode Sight Words dalam meningkatkan lingkungan keluarga yang mendukung literasi membaca dan meningkatkan minat baca anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif kuasi eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test. Sampel dalam penelitian  berjumlah 30 orang Ibu dengan anak usia 4-6 tahun yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan minat baca anak sebelum dan sesudah diberikan kegiatan belajar membaca dengan pendampingan lewat metode Sight Words namun tidak terdapat perubahan yang signifikan terhadap HLE setelah dilakukan intervensi.
